Jason is extremely professional, detail-oriented and thorough. I was very impressed with his inspection of my new home. He did an excellent job! Additionally, he prepared an excellent home inspection report that was easy to follow and easy to understand and documented every detail, complete with pictures. Jayson and Aidan showed up on-time and got right to work. It is an older place with a lot going on. They spent close to 3 hours in a very thorough inspection which included inspecting for termites and testing for radon. We are very satisfied!

Comprehensive inspection completed promptly.

I used JayBird Home Inspections for the last two condos, I was considering purchasing. Chasing him and his team were prompt, Efficient, and took the time to do the job right. As a matter of fact, they discovered few flaws that would definitely have been safe teaches for me if I had gone through with either sale. In the first condo, Jason discovered that there was no gas line to unit was something I had totally counted on. That not being present, made me back out the deal completely. Had it not been for Jason that Would have cost me a lot more money and headaches for sure.. In the second condo, the sellers were stating that the windows in one of the bedrooms are being sold as is because they were functional. Turns out that Jason found that the windows were sealed shut, a huge safety issue, and definitely not functional. I truly appreciate all the effort and hard work. Jason and his crew put put into, giving me peace of mind. When/ if I were to move again, I would 110% use this company. I would also recommend anyone else who is looking to get a home inspection done to contact Jason and his crew.

Unfortunately, home inspectors notoriously have a bad reputation. But this is not the case with Jason. Working with him was fantastic, and he certainly lived up to his stellar reviews. I was impressed with his thoroughness and his willingness to discuss the inspection in depth. His demeanor was more than pleasant, and he demonstrated poise and professionalism while going over our inspection from across the country. We were extremely pleased with Jason’s inspection services - there was transparency throughout all interactions: he was very clear about what was and wasn’t included in his inspection, about the cost of services, and honest in his findings. He didn’t shy away from any hard to reach places: roof, crawl spaces, attic without flooring. His report was delivered promptly in great detail, with pictures and descriptions of all areas of concern, in the easiest to use format we’ve seen. We will be referring anyone who asks for inspection services in the southeastern PA/NJ area to his site.

Although it didn't work out and we didn't end up going with Jaybird (we needed Septic inspection and underground tank sweep together with the home inspection report, which unfortunately Jaybird themselves don't provide, but they work with other local inspectors who can do it same time that they do the home inspections). Jason was very understanding of our issue, very nice and was able to provide a refund for us, in our specific situation. If you are looking for a home inspection, I would recommend Jaybird if you're in the area!

Jason was recommended by my realtor, Lindsey Binks. I cannot recommend him enough to anyone that wants a thorough home inspection and good explanation of the home's condition. We are buying an 83 year old house that has been remodeled many times over the years. We wanted someone to look everything over and give us an idea of the major repairs needed. Jason did just that. His prices were what I expected for a home inspection and radon test. Again, highly recommended.

Jason performed an extremely thorough inspection during our recent home purchase in Manahawkin. We were able to be present during the visit - he came with an assistant and together they took a little over an hour to do a full examination of roof, interior, exterior and crawlspace. We're new homeowners, and he took the time to explain much of what he found when they were finished. The report that came through a couple of days after was even more thorough, with photos, detailed recommendations about immediate vs less urgent concerns. The home was immaculate in appearance, with many fresh repairs. We thought everything was peachy, but he did find several leaks that even the homeowner was not aware of, as well as some other issues we agreed to take care of after closing. It made me realize how necessary a home inspection is, even with updated and well maintained homes.
